Jillian's daughter Stella died in the kindergarten collapse incident. Her husband Nicholas rushed to rescue, but was occupied saving the daughter of Irene, the woman he loved. Before passing away, Stella asked Jillian why her father didn't come to save her, leaving Jillian distraught.
