Elena, a small-town café clerk adopted by humans, bears an innate moon mark on her arm. On a full-moon night, she saves Cain, wounded alpha of the werewolves fleeing vampires. He recognizes her as the foretold Moon Descendant, whose power can end the centuries-long war between werewolves and vampires. Vampire Duke Leon is ordered to capture her yet grows fond of her. The two rivals enter Elena’s life. As her powers awaken, Elena strives to become a peacemaker between the races. The vampire queen and rebel werewolves scheme to seize her power for domination. Elena refuses to pick sides, while Cain and Leon must choose between ancient hatred and love.
