On the first day of her senior year, Maya—a brilliant student with a prickly personality—excitedly pushed open the door to Dorm Room 203, only to stumble upon her nemesis, the roguish and handsome Jake, half-naked and drying his hair. After the dorm supervisor coldly rejected her request to switch rooms, she was forced into an unwanted cohabitation arrangement. Faced with Jake’s provocations—stomping on her luggage, snatching away her massive textbook, and mocking her relentlessly—a furious Maya stormed over to reclaim her book and engaged in a heated, explosive confrontation. She then decisively used a roll of red electrical tape to draw a striking boundary line across the floor, effectively splitting the room in two, and issued a chilling ultimatum to Jake: "Cross this line, and you're dead."
