On the eve of the wedding, Veronica receives a custom-tailored paper wedding dress from her fiancé. She knows clearly it is no bridal gown, but a ritual prop for soul-swapping. Whoever wears it will exchange souls with the dead, leaving the living to die and the dead to revive.
Wendell, her fiancé whom she has loved for three years, pretends to be affectionate with her, colluding with her father and stepmother. They plan to sacrifice Veronica to resurrect her dead stepsister Darlene.
Betrayed by everyone, Veronica awakens her hidden witch power. A huge truth comes out: it was Veronica, not Darlene, who saved Wendell in the car accident three years ago. Wendell has long been a corpse, and it is Veronica who revived him with forbidden witchcraft and protected the whole family for three years. Faced with endless deception and hurt, the betrayed witch decides to take revenge and end the cruel soul-swapping game.
