Forced by her half-sister Leola, Joanne takes the disgraced sister's place to serve drugged tycoon Raymond on his wedding night and unexpectedly bears boy-girl twins. To save her mother's life, she lives mute in hiding for years before fleeing with her family to settle at a charity shelter.
Four years later, Raymond's clan visits the shelter; the children's uncanny resemblance betrays their origin. After repeated arson and abduction attempts by Leola end in her arrest, Raymond confesses his long-hidden first love.
