Liam, a gifted forward, returns to soccer six years after his father’s match-fixing scandal ruined his career. Forced to team up with his former rival Mateo, he discovers Mateo has secretly loved him for years.
When a gambling syndicate threatens their team, Liam sacrifices his reputation to protect his family and expose them. After taking a knife meant for Mateo, Liam falls into a coma. Mateo publicly confesses his love and refuses to abandon him.
A month later, Liam returns for the Champions League final. Together, they score the winning goal, lift the trophy, and finally kiss in front of the world.
