The Man Protected by a Dragon

Deep within the snow-capped mountains of the North, the human Thorn Dragon-Slaying Clan has been at war with the dragons for a century. Caleb Thorn is the rightful heir to the Thorn Clan, but after his parents died, his uncle Garrick took power as regent. During a battle between humans and dragons, Caleb was knocked off a cliff, and everyone assumed he was dead. But he was saved by a young, massive silver-white dragon named Liora. Liora, the daughter of the Dragon King, was dozens of times larger than Caleb; she could lift him with a single claw. Even though she knew Caleb was a hunter from the enemy race, she hid him in her snow-capped mountain lair and revived him with her dragon’s breath and herbs. Having lost his memory, Caleb could not recall his identity or the enmity between humans and dragons; he knew only that the enormous silvery-white dragon before him had been protecting him all along. The two relied on each other for survival in the dragon’s lair, and gradually developed a forbidden romance.
