Even though she knew Caleb was a hunter from the enemy race, she hid him in her snow-capped mountain lair and revived him with her dragon’s breath and herbs. Having lost his memory, Caleb could not recall his identity or the enmity between humans and dragons; he knew only that the enormous silvery-white dragon before him had been protecting him all along. The two relied on each other for survival in the dragon’s lair, and gradually developed a forbidden romance.
