When Eldritch Prison fails and its monstrous inmates flood into the world, humanity loses control of the night in a matter of days. The creatures born of human fear and rage and grief tear through everything in their path. Spencer Gray loses his parents to Subject 004, Wrath, and the rage that consumes him in that moment is so absolute, so pure, that the prison itself takes notice. It selects him as warden, granting him the power to capture any creature by force and strip it of its abilities for his own use.
