On Christmas Eve, Callia witnesses her parents fall to their deaths from a building. Her husband Goldie conspires with her assistant Delilah to frame her as the murderer, fabricating a will and falsifying a paternity test. Even her daughter Monica testifies against her. Callia is eventually beaten to death by an angry mob of townsfolk. As she lies dying, she sacrifices her soul to the Erinyes, goddesses of vengeance, in exchange for a chance to be reborn.
She wakes up seven and a half hours before her parents'fatal fall and begins secretly uncovering the truth. Bit by bit, she uncovers a tangled web of betrayal, blood curses, and generational hatred woven into the murder—and the mastermind pulling all the strings turns out to be the person closest to her heart.
