My husband told me I had cancer.
Fearing I'd become a burden to him and our child, I chose to end my life.
My spirit hadn't moved on after I died.
But I never imagined that at my own funeral, I would see my best friend wrapped in my husband's arms.
"Your wife was such a fool. We just lied to her about having cancer."
"Well, she killed herself to make way for us, didn't she?"
