"Former elite FBI negotiator Katherine Blake is framed for bribery by her
husband Derek, costing her career and marriage. She divorces him, then
sees Derek with his lover Natalie, leaving her heartbroken.
Katherine works as an insurance investigator, using her FBI skills to
solve cases and seek justice. She quickly cracks an insurance fraud murder
case.
When Natalie is badly hurt in a cliff car crash, Derek asks Katherine to
look into it. She finds evidence that Derek controlled Natalie and drove
her to run away.
Katherine pressures Derek into confessing. Restored surveillance proves
he stalked Natalie. Natalie also testifies against him. Derek is convicted
of manslaughter and ruined.
Katherine clears her name but refuses to rejoin the FBI.She stays to help
vulnerable people, supports Natalie’s new life, and trains her
assistant. After her mother’s death, she keeps fighting for justice
and starts a new life with her team."
