Orphan Aria is abused by her cruel aunt’s family all her life. One stormy day, she rescues Nyx, the powerful sea god, and spends a passionate night with him. After conceiving his child, she is beaten and left partially deaf, then driven out of the house. To pay her newborn son’s medical bills, she sells the priceless black pearl Nyx gave her for a tiny sum. Nyx tracks her down via the pearl and learns all the pain she endured. Enraged, he destroys the violent fishery owner’s business and shields Aria from all harm. His jealous housemate Luna and vicious cousin Brianna plot repeatedly against them: poisoning milk to ruin their marriage, plagiarizing Aria’s thesis, and even throwing their infant son into the ocean. When their schemes leave Aria fully deaf, Nyx takes her to an ancient deep-sea witch doctor to restore her hearing. Every villain involved in their plots gets arrested or ruined. Three months later, Nyx holds a grand seaside wedding for Aria. As pink dolphins leap from the waves to bless them, the couple finally gains peaceful, happy lives with their son.
