Playable: 0 | Total DB: 40
Elara, a puppet crafter mocked for lacking apparent magic, faces expulsion from the mage academy in three days after being bullied by her jealous classmate Lydia. Desperate for a chance to prove herself, she sneaks into an abandoned underground prop room and carves a puppet from strange black wood, pricking her finger to feed it her blood. The blood awakens Kael, a powerful trapped Fae prince bound to the wood by an ancient contract.
Elara gains the power to control Kael with red blood strings, turning him into her secret weapon against her tormentors and the corrupt headmaster Vane, who drained Fae power via deadly arrays and murdered Elara’s mother years ago. A bitter game of manipulation unfolds between the wary human girl and the furious Fae lord, who gradually softens amid shared dangers. After countless traps, betrayals and sacrifices, Elara shatters the forced puppet bond to unleash Kael’s full strength, defeating Vane. Linked by equal immortal souls, the two face a new summons from the dark abyss, ready to journey into Kael’s homeland together.
