Public Execution
Public Execution
Playable: 8 | Total DB: 30
Liv has a stable marriage and a six-year close friend Sophie. Until one night, she receives a beach photo from Sophie — in the picture, her husband Evan is hugging Sophie intimately, with the caption "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself", which sounds like an apology but is actually a blatant declaration of war. After a brief shock, Liv does not drown in emotional torment. Instead, she immediately posts the photo on social media, completing the "public execution" with the remark "Congrats, bestie. No more sneaking around. And this man is used goods. No refunds. No exchanges." She then withstands her husband's threats and excuses, her mother-in-law's pressure, and Sophie's begging and counter-accusations. With the help of her colleague and friend Rachel, she traces abnormal transactions from their joint bank account, sorts out the full timeline of Evan and Sophie's long secret connection, and uncovers the truth that Sophie has been plotting to take her place in the marriage for a long time. Finally, with a complete chain of evidence including transfer records, chat screenshots and audio recordings, Liv successfully gets divorced through litigation, takes back her rightful property, says goodbye to the betrayers soberly and gracefully, and starts a brand new life.
