Hannah, the female lead, suffers from intermittent amnesia after an accident. For three years, her husband Aiden and his friends take turns pretending to be her husband and abuse her at will. Though she has long regained her memory, she pretends to know nothing, watching coldly as her husband cheats on his first love and abandons their family.
During the ninth round of their twisted game, Caleb, one of Aiden’s friends, steps in voluntarily. Having secretly loved Hannah for a decade, he sincerely protects her through this cruel charade. In the end, Hannah lets go of her past, shuns worldly conflicts and lives in seclusion in the mountains. Caleb abandons his prosperous life to follow her, and the two stay by each other’s side, starting a brand‑new life together.
