She was the Ancestor of the Undead, but was betrayed by her disciple Malcor and attacked by the Vampire Sovereign and the Wolf King, and had to fall asleep. Now that she's back, she must retrieve four artifacts to rebuild her phylactery, and go deal with the traitor and her enemies. The first artifact is in her servant Arthur's hands, who seems to be dying.
