Titus Cole is cast out by his uncle's family. He activates the Beast Codex, gaining the ability to track beasts and resources. He captures beasts and finds ginseng, becoming wealthy. His greedy uncle tries to steal Titus's fortune but loses his home to debt. Titus Cole catches a Kaluga King and marries Alia. The codex unlocks a larger map, starting his journey to become King of the Mountain Runners.
