On his way home for Spring Festival, Jason plans to exit the highway due to a snowstorm and a road closure. Just then, he receives a call for help from his first love, Lily, and rushes to pick her up. Meanwhile, Cherie and Joel are involved in a car accident—Cherie dies, and Joel is left in a coma. Jason mistakenly believes Cherie is faking illness to manipulate him and becomes solely focused on taking Lily and her pet dog to the vet.
