Office‑worker Lina, having seen women's late‑night safety dangers, creates nonprofit SafeSpace and rolls out its Safe Elevator project in her building. Red emergency buttons are fitted in every lift, linked to a 24‑hour response center, with a recorded warning: “Who are you stalking?”
Coworker Emily has endured three‑year‑long stalking and gathered two years of audio evidence, usually after 10 p.m. One night after overtime, security guard Richard follows her into the elevator. She hits the red button. Lina's pre‑recorded line breaks Richard down, the response center checks the footage and sends police, who arrest him immediately. Emily's audio evidence secures his conviction.
This victory expands the Safe Elevator project nationwide. The red button evolves from a useless decoration into a beacon of protection, and the famous warning becomes a powerful call‑to‑action for stalking victims.
