Architect Sophia needs money for her mother’s kidney transplant evaluation, surgery and lifelong treatment. She signs a one-year secret marriage contract with Alexander, CEO of a tech conglomerate, who must enter a legal marriage before turning 34 to retain voting rights for the family trust and control of the group. After marriage, Sophia finds a photo of teenage Alexander among her late father’s belongings with the words “until betrayal” written on the back. The truth behind her father’s fatal construction site accident five years earlier gradually comes to light. Starting as cold transactional partners, they grow closer while investigating the truth and fighting hidden enemies within Alexander’s family. Their fake marriage turns genuine as they heal each other. When the contract expires, they have to abandon all contractual terms and face their true feelings.
