Elena has been in a relationship with Arthur for four years, but he repeatedly misses their anniversary dates to take care of his friend Rosalie. Constant compromise and neglect wear out her love. Deeply disappointed, Elena makes up her mind to leave and ends the relationship, tired of being his second choice. Regretting his mistakes, Arthur tries hard to win her back but fails. Later, Elena walks out of the pain and meets Noah, a thoughtful man who always puts her first. She embraces a brand-new life. In the end, Arthur reaps what he sows and leaves the city alone. Letting go of the past, Elena finally gains true happiness and a bright new beginning.
